If you're not global, you're not going to be competitive. You're not getting the benefit of the best people no matter where they are. That's why there is a need to be in India to build your business.
That's why there is a need to learn Hindi language.
Professor David Crystal, Author of the "Cambridge Encyclopedia Of The English Language" predicts that Indian English (or, Inglish) will soon become the most widely spoken variant of English as a result of India's economic rise and the sheer size of it's population. When 300 million Indians pronounce an English word in a certain way, he says, "it will be the only way to pronounce it."
Whether or not that prediction becomes a reality, the reasons quoted by the professor - economic rise and population size - are certainly there for all to see.
And if it can have such a profound effect on English language, can one deny the influence of Hindi language which is mother tongue of a majority of Indian population and national language of India.
There was a recent article- "Wikipedia Plans More Indian Languages on Its Website". The reason quoted is that Hindi, though a very large language, has only 1,500 entries in it and they want more contribution from Hindi language writers as they have realized the importance of Hindi.
I guess it is the right time to learn this language and benefit from it.
